The breakfast room (the castle's former orangerie) is worth booking the breakfast already as it's just stunning! But the buffet is very good, too. There are options for everyone, and even I as a low carb/keto eater was able to find plenty of choices which isn't always the case in other places. I also love the swimming pool and that I was the only one using it, and had a very relaxing swim twice during my stay.

An historic location in the heart of this city of great heritage. Our first choice hotel in Fulda, very good facilities and ideal to explore the city. We have stayed a number of times before. The room was quiet and spacious. Beds are comfortable and access is easy. Staff are courteous and helpful. Breakfast is taken in the Orangery, worth a visit in its own right, full of baroque splendour. The Landesgartenshau was a short bus journey away for those who intend a visit before it finishes in October.

To be honest, the hotel itself really wasn't much to look at. However, as soon as you turn around the corner and get to the Orangerie, it's the height of Baroque and the ceiling fresco just took my breath away. Exceptionally high quality breakfast.

The hotel is directly in the center of Fulda, within easy walking distance of the old town and only a stone’s throw from the cathedral. At the same time due to its setting in a park it’s very quiet. Free parking is provided in an underground car park. The family room was in a wing a little removed from the rest of the hotel, on the ground floor with a view of the park and huge windows that fully opened. The room itself was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable and even the pull out sofa bed had a good mattress. The shower was one of the best we’ve had in hotels. The hotel has a small indoor pool and a sauna with access to a fenced patio, and it is conveniently located in the centre of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, with great variety and attentive, friendly service.

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful park. Very helpful staff and very high quality breakfast in absolutely stunning hall with paintings on the ceiling and massive windows overlooking the park

What a peaceful place to stay. I loved it very much. What a pity my colleagues cancel the trip at last minutes. They could not imagine what they have missed. The stay was super comfortable. The room was clean with no smell, no noise at all. Food was good. I love the morning there.

Breakfast - great variety of food, lovely place (Orangerie). Pool entrance free-of-charge. Located in walking distance of the city centre. Fantastic location for those attending concerts in front of the Dom or in the Schlosstheater.

Location was amazing, night restaurant and breakfast room stunning and the food was excellent in both. Rooms are quite small, bathroom quite small, bath towels quite small but eveything worked well, good hot water and flow. Overall, an excellent experience.

The hotel room was quiet and comfortable. Well equiped with a smart TV to which you can cast from your phone super easy, and Ethernet cable in case you have to work with your computer. Wifi worked pretty well. The bathroom has a very nice bathtub. Both restaurants for breakfast/lunch and dinner have a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast is super complete. The view to the garden during breakfast was still nice even though the garden and terrace were under construction. I put a 9 because I would have liked to know in advance that the garden was not as expected, but I plan on giving it another chance in summer.
